Cookie & Storage Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

BabyLog uses no cookies and no tracking. It uses only your browser's local storage to keep the app working and to save your entries on your device. None of it is ever sent anywhere.

No cookies

BabyLog does not set any HTTP cookies, advertising identifiers, or cross-site trackers. There is no analytics and no third-party tag.

Strictly functional local storage

To do its job, the app stores a few values using your browser's localStorage. These are "strictly necessary" — they exist only to make the app function and to remember your own data and preferences. They stay on your device.

Key Purpose
babylog.v1 Your log entries — feeds, diapers, weight, temperature, notes.
babylog.prefs.v1 Display preferences, such as weight (kg/lb) and temperature (°C/°F) units.
babylog.timer.v1 The state of a feed timer that is in progress, so it survives a refresh or the screen locking.
babylog.consent.v1 Your choice about loading optional Google Fonts (see below), with a timestamp.

Optional Google Fonts

BabyLog can use Google Fonts for its intended look. Those font files are served by Google, so loading them would share your IP address with Google. Because that is not strictly necessary, we ask before loading them and do not contact Google until you opt in. If you decline, the app uses your device's built-in fonts and makes no third-party request.

You can change this decision at any time using the "Font settings" link in the app's footer.

Clearing this storage

You can remove everything BabyLog has stored by using "Erase all data" inside the app, or by clearing site data for this page in your browser settings. Remember to export a backup first if you want to keep your records.
