In one sentence: BabyLog keeps everything on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or have any access to your data — there is no server, no account, and no analytics.
BabyLog ("the app", "we") is a free, offline-first web application for tracking newborn feeding, diapers, and basic vitals. It runs entirely in your browser.
None. BabyLog has no backend server and no database. The entries you create (feeds, diapers, weight, temperature, notes) are stored only in your browser's local storage on the device you use. They never leave your device and are never sent to us or any third party.
All entries are saved using your browser's localStorage.
This means your data:
BabyLog sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. We only use functional browser storage to make the app work. See the Storage Policy for the exact keys used.
BabyLog can use Google Fonts for its intended typography. Because Google serves these fonts from its own servers, loading them would share your IP address with Google. For that reason we do not load them unless you opt in. On first visit you are asked to choose; until then (and if you decline) the app uses your device's built-in fonts and contacts no third party. You can change this choice anytime via "Font settings" in the footer.
BabyLog is intended for use by parents and caregivers. Any information about a child that you enter remains solely on your device under your control; we never receive it.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. You have full and direct control: edit or delete any entry in the app, or use "Erase all data" to remove everything from your device.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be reflected in the app.
